10th Annual Carnival Milwaukee Celebration!
Join UEDA on Saturday, February 24, as we celebrate Milwaukee’s culture and diversity with a night full of music, dancing, dining and carnival entertainment! Our 10th Annual Carnival Milwaukee event will be held from 6:30pm to 10:30pm at 1451 Renaissance Place on Prospect Avenue.
Dressed in cultural attire, Carnival costumes and Mardi Gras garb, attendees will have the opportunity to travel the world through an array of familiar and exotic dishes from more than 25 local restaurants and caterers, and enjoy mix of live Afro-Caribbean & Latin jazz music performed by De La Buena, a world music set from local DJ, and a cultural dance performance and lesson. The Carnival raffle and fun photo-booth are also not-to- be-missed!
New this year, UEDA will present 88Nine Radio Milwaukee with the inaugural Carnival Milwaukee ‘Bridge Builder Award’ for their efforts to honor diversity and connect people and places.
In February, Carnival is celebrated around the world — from Brazil to Belgium and Jamaica to New Orleans. Each year UEDA observes this tradition and celebrates Milwaukee’s culture and diversity.
